Deadly Prey (1987)

DEADLY PREY (1987)
IMDb / YouTube
Rating: Thumbs up
Mercenaries practice death by killing "Runners" - which are randomly abducted men set free in the wilderness and then hunted down like animals. Michael (Ted Prior) is the new Runner and boy did they ever pick the wrong guy. He served in Nam and knows a thing or two about survival, not hesitating to devour raw worms and grilled mice to still his hunger. Stripped down to a pair of hot pants Mike is still able to take out all Soldiers, saving Col. Hogan (David Campbell) and Lt. Thornton (Fritz Matthews) for last. Why? Because they did bad bad things to his wife.
"Daddy, he raped me!"
One of the funniest forced-sex scenes in a long long time.
Bouncing pec alert: DEADLY PREY reunites the three male leads from AEROBI-CIDE (Ted Prior, the blonde muscle head. Fritz Matthews, the limping buff and David Campbell, the Detective) doing exactly what they did two years earlier: butting heads. Besides that you get quality low budget FIRST BLOOD type of action, popping fisticuffs and booming booby traps by the minute. Ted Prior does a fine job as the vengeful Michael, sporting a hilarious John Rambo mullet. Cameron Mitchell was also spotted, playing Ted's father-in-law armed with a rifle, a blank stare and a bad acting attitude. Great action garbage from the infamous A.I.P. studios desperately in need of a DVD release.
